Standards

This year, we will be working on a combination of the National Core Art Standards: Visual Arts and the Maine Learning Results for Visual Art. We will talk about these standards to students in terms of "I Can" statements as goals for the day's lesson. Students will be expected to master these artist skills by the end of grade level, and we will continue to build on those skills next year and thereafter. Here are some links for further research and understanding to our big ideas and practices in the art room.
